Terms & Conditions
By submitting an order with Noms From Tom, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions
All prices are fixed and are calculated based on the specific design and size requirements of your order. Once you have made an enquiry, any quotation issued will remain valid for 48 hours from the time it is provided. Your booking fee must be paid within this period to secure both the quoted price and your chosen date in my schedule. If payment is not received, the booking will not be confirmed
Prices
A 50% booking fee, which is non-refundable, is required to reserve your order and secure your selected date with Noms From Tom. Your order will only be considered confirmed once this payment has been received and confirmed by Noms From Tom. Payment is accepted strictly via bank transfer. Please be aware that any orders requested within seven days of collection or delivery must be paid in full at the time of enquiry
Booking Fee
All payments must be made via bank transfer to the designated account, with full details provided at the time of booking. The remaining balance for your cake must be paid no later than five days prior to collection or delivery. If payment has not been received and cleared by this deadline, the order will be cancelled and will not go ahead. Booking fees are non-refundable. Please note that a lack of response to payment-related communications may result in future booking requests being declined
Payment
If an order is cancelled more than seven days before the scheduled collection or delivery date, your booking fee may be transferred to an alternative date, subject to availability. Cancellations made within seven days of the agreed date will result in the non-refundable booking fee being retained. No further balance will be payable in this case.
In rare circumstances outside of my control—such as fire, power failure, or illness—I reserve the right to cancel a booking. Should this occur, any payments made will be refunded in full
Cancellations
It is the client’s responsibility to review and confirm that all provided details are accurate. Where possible, I will try to accommodate design changes after approval; however, this may not always be feasible depending on the nature of the request or the notice given. Any amendments that impact the cost or preparation required for the original design may result in an adjusted final balance.
I reserve the right to modify or adapt the agreed design if necessary due to circumstances beyond my control, such as extreme weather conditions or ingredient availability. As each order is individually handcrafted, every effort is made to maintain consistency, though minor variations from the approved design may naturally occur
Changes & Alterations
Please be aware that cake decorations are fragile by nature, and once the cake has left my care, I am unable to accept responsibility for any damage that may occur
Damages
If a collection time has been agreed in advance, please ensure you arrive on the specified date and time. For deliveries, it is essential that someone is present at the confirmed address to receive the order. Orders that are not collected at the agreed time may be disposed of
Collections & Deliveries
All baked items are suitable for vegetarians. While ingredients such as nuts can be excluded from a cake on request, I cannot guarantee that any product will be completely free from nut traces due to the way some ingredients are manufactured. It is the client’s responsibility to communicate any allergen information to those who will be consuming the order.
If your order requires adjustments to accommodate allergies or specific dietary needs, it is the client’s responsibility to inform Noms From Tom at the time of enquiry
